MEGADETH, W.A.S.P., FIREBALL MINISTRY Members Interviewed For New 'Shockwaves' Podcast

Shockwaves/HardRadio Podcast #43 — in which host Bob Nalbandian conducts separate interviews with returning MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson, W.A.S.P. mainman Blackie Lawless and guitarist/vocalist Reverend James A. MEGADETH's month-long "Rust In Peace" 20th anniversary tour launches March 1 in Spokane, Washington. At these special shows, MEGADETH will play its landmark, genre-defining 1990 album "Rust In Peace" in its entirety, in addition to other MEGADETH favorites.

Ellefson will join MEGADETH mainman Dave Mustaine and band members Shawn Drover (drums) and Chris Broderick (guitar) on tour in support of the group's current CD, "Endgame", which has received some of the highest critical accolades of the band's career.

W.A.S.P. is currently working on a video for the song "Crazy", taken from the band's latest album, "Babylon". The CD, which entered the U.K. "Rock Albums" chart at position No. 15, was released in Europe on October 12, 2009 through Global Music (via Demolition Records) and was made available in the U.S. on November 17.

"Babylon" is themed around biblical visions of "The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse," and is described in a press release as "a metal masterpiece that will make fans both old and new craving for more."

Lawless commented on the "Crazy" ttrack: "Although like it may sound like a man talking to a woman, 'Crazy' is about a performer talking to an audience; the dangers of idol worship and elevating musicians and politicians to a level that's dangerous!"

FIREBALL MINISTRY will release its self-titled fourth album on March 16 via Restricted Release. The follow-up to 2005's "Their Rock Is Not Our Rock" marks the group's first release without the support of a traditional label.

For its new album, FIREBALL MINISTRY re-teamed with renowned producer/engineer Andrew Alekel (QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, FOO FIGHTERS) — whom they’d previously worked with on 2001's "FMEP" and 2003's "The Second Great Awakening".

"Fireball Ministry" was recorded at Grandmaster in Hollywood, with additional vocals tracked at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge.
